Philippines - A Change is Coming

I was so blessed  to receive the most recent letter from a dear brother in Christ  whom i've been discipling over the years. He's a pastor and indigenous missionary in the Philippines with a passion for Christ that i rarely encounter. As he has been learning more and more solid biblical truth the Lord has been growing him in incredible ways; and as he grows he also shares what he knows with others. It is a great testimony to how God can use one individual to set off a domino effect that  changes many individuals and churches. The most recent studies that we have been going through have been related to basic Reformed theology (i.e. TULIP), repentance, and eschatology. The next thing we plan to go through is the moral law of God. Please take a few moments to read about the amazing work that our great King and Savior is doing through Pastor Nestor Pablo...and pray that our most gracious  God would continue to empower him to serve Christ's Kingdom even as he grows in faith.

Dear Brother Larry,
Greetings in the name of our Savior Lord Jesus Christ!
I am so thankful for all your help for sending those books to me for studies. And most all, I thanked God for His abundant love, grace, and mercy. I am done reading all the books that you sent. It is so nice to read the book of John Owen about The Death of Death. I was enlightened about the TULIP. His explanation about the Limited Atonement or particularly about the Redemption of Christ only died for His elect exclusively, is very clear. I really like also reading the book of Richard Baxter about the Reform Pastor. For me, those pastors who haven't read this book yet are still lack of knowledge to become a full time pastor. The message of the book is so rich. His approach about the book is so unique. Thanking God for using Baxter for writing this book. It is a great tool for teaching. As of now, there are lots of things/ ways I changed in my life as a pastor. I repented to God all my failure. But I know that it's not too late yet. The book is so helpful.
I also read The Doctrine of Repentance by Thomas Watson. The message of his book is so rich too. This is my first time reading a very deep teaching about Repentance. When I read his book, I was amazed. I continued reading his book in my room with meditation. I shared all what I have read to my wife and children because I realized that we lack something. You can't read this book without sincerity because every time you read it, your heart get melted about the truth. I saw some aspects of my life that I haven't repented yet or surrendered it to God. I can't help myself not to cry while I'm reading this book because you can see what Christ did on the cross. I told my family that if a person who can read this book and wont cry, he/she has no conscience. I was blessed especially what he stated on the book about praying. He said that if you are prayerful then you still continue sinning, time will come that your sin is the one letting you stop for being prayerful.
I was blessed also about the book of Bryan Zachaias especially how he interprets The Armour of God and how to apply it. And how important is the prayer to the life of Christians. My knowledge was increased too about the The Doctrine of the Holy Spirit by John Owen. I required all my students in Mobile School to read all the books.
As of this time, I have a friend pastor who always visit me everyday just to learn more about the Word of God. I let him read all the books that you sent. He is a Supervisor of Christian Missionary Alliance Church. As a supervisor, there are 177 churches under him because he supervised two regions. He was so amazed and appreciate all the books. He also read all the handouts you sent me through internet about the Eschatology. He read the book He shall have Dominion by Kenneth Gentry, Perilous Times and Navigating the Book of Revelation. He also read the Postmillenialism by Loraine Boetner. Last month, after I was reading the book that you sent, he also read it. He is also sharing what he learned to his wife, and to his eldest son which is also a Pastor. He also have another son that is graduating to be a pastor in their Bible School. All of them are reading the books and their Theology were changed. Because of this, his two sons which are pastor and graduating pastor are decided to enroll next year on January to a Reform Theological Seminary in Manila. The school stand about Eschatology is  (AMILL) because there's no school yet of (Postmill) here in the Philippines. I think I'm the only one but I am not sure. As what I said, this Friend Pastor of mine has 177 churches under him. He also shared what he learned about the Reform Teaching to their Vice President of Christian Missionary Alliance Church and he accepted the Reform Teaching.  In fact, he invited their Vice President on our coming Pastor's Conference next year God willing with Pastor Craig Ireland. Help us to pray that the Reform Theology will be spread to these pastors because this group/denomination is really big. So far, Christian Missionary Alliance has 2,800 churches in the whole Philippines. I was so thankful to God by using me as an instrument for sharing the solid truth to these pastors. To God be the glory alone!
Thank you very much! To God be the glory!
In Christ,
NESTOR PABLO

Church Websites

The Lord has recently blessed me with a Linux Virtual Private Server (VPS). With this new VPS I am able to do much more in the area of online programming, web hosting, and web design. I have been freely giving my services in this area to churches as part of my ministry.

There are many churches who don't have the funds to create a well designed website. That's where I come in. Here is one of the church websites that I have freely created and continue to maintain:

http://tpmchester.org/
Click image to go to website

Please pray that these churches would be blessed by this, and that having a good website will help to bring those without a church into these churches. Pray that funding for my ministry would come in so that I can continue to serve the kingdom of Christ in such ways.

Philippines - Mobile School Gets More Books for Library

Brother Pablo, who runs a mobile school in the Philippines, has been faithfully teaching church leaders for some time now. I was blessed with an opportunity to send him some books to add to his library so that such teaching and training can continue to grow. Please pray that Pastor Pablo's ministry would bear much fruit. He has a deep love for the Lord and His word...and has been growing in the grace of Christ.

Pakistan - a Brother Reaching out with the Gospel

Here is the latest news from Aahiq Pastor Sandhu, a Pakistani brother in Christ who is serious about the Gospel call upon his life...

We all have vision for the villagers because Christian in Pakistan in Lahore lives in very distant areas. We have vision to go deepest areas of village where Pastors only visit in Christmas day and Easter day.
In these area living people have less knowledge about the good news of Jesus Christ. This is very hard and difficult for us [because of various problems] but we believe [and] pray [because] every thing [is] possible.
In these areas after 6p.m. [we can] not come back home [becuase it is a ] risk. [It] is dangerous for us because [there are] no proper roads and also no proper street light arrangement.
[There are also many] different kinds of thieves and bandits in the night time [who] hide in the bushes and in the back of trees [so that they can] loot the people.
We need [your] prayer with tears...for the people of Pakistan. [Please] pray abundantly.
We welcome you. We [would] love if you visit Pakistan. This is my invitation for you.
Preaching the Gospel of Christ, the very power of God unto salvation, in Pakistan

Please keep brother Aahiq in prayer. May God strengthen and expand His kingdom through him.

Kenya - Kitale Puritan Charismatic Theological Seminary

God is really moving!!!

First there was The North American Reformed Seminary (TNARS) in the USA, then there was Puritan Reformed Biblical Seminary (PRBS) in India....and now there are plans for Kitale Puritan Charismatic Theological Seminary (KPCTS) in Kenya!

A dear brother whom I have been discipling in Nairobi, Kenya has been moved by the Lord to start a seminary in the city of Kitale. I am just amazed at what our great King, Jesus Christ, is doing through His people around the world. In places where the term "Puritan" is not even used these seminaries are starting to take root.

I am doubly blessed to be joining in this ministry for the strengthening and furthering of Christ's kingdom. I pray that these things are sparks that will eventually grow into a raging fire of revival all across the world!

Fruit in the Philippines' Ministry

Here is his update...

Hello brother,
I just got home. I attended a Pastor's gathering/Bible class from Iligan City. It is very far from my place. I was enjoying our class. God is good that I've learned a lot of things from the Scripture.
I missed also our lessons in Skype.
I didn't stop preaching and teaching. I have new students and I am teaching them the solid biblical doctrines. Every month, I have a new student. They can't afford to go to Bible School that is why I am teaching them for free. I am so thankful that God blessed the ministry here. I get teary eyes every time the students give their learnings.
I really need Bibles and Books for my students. Please help us to pray that God will supply it.
I am also following you in Facebook. Thank you so much for praying the ministry and my family. I do appreciate it. I and my family also prayed for your family and the ministry God entrusted you. I hope someday you can visit us and teach. Thank you so much for all your help.
In Christ,
Nestor
